Leader Tips

Insect Alert: Be highly aware that Fire Ants have been noted under the Renown Road bridge. Ensure Scouts do not sit down or linger directly under the bridge structure, and keep everyone moving. General Wildlife: Watch out for other insects and leeches along the creek line. Ensure the Leader carrying the first aid kit is easily accessible. Water Safety: Remind youth to stay on the designated track when navigating near the creek and underneath the dam wall.
